Meet The Owner
JOLENE’S STORY
Jolene is a Mini Dachshund breeder, specializing in the long haired Mini Dachshunds, and providing customers with a wide variety of colors to choose from. Her goal is to make all her puppy customers feel like a part of one big happy puppy family! Her Dad has been a professional dog breeder for over 20 years, and she helps her dads puppies find their forever home too. He provides Mini Dachshunds, Toy Poodles and Toy Poodle Mixes. She is not only passionate about her puppies, but also enjoys sales, marketing, and photography. Jolene grew up in the country in a Christian family home with her 3 brothers and 1 sister. They always had pets, over the years she had 2 ponies and 1 baby pony, 2 bottled feed sheep, and of course lots of puppies.
Before starting her puppy business, Jolene worked for an advertising company doing puppy photography. She photographed all different kinds of puppies for many great local dog breeders across Ohio. Her favorite breed was the Mini Dachshunds. She was also a part time college student for several years studying business. While working a 9-5 job as a teenager, she also had a side of doing wedding photography for 5 years. After she married Kyle in 2019, they got 2 Mini Dachshund girls and just grew a puppy family from there!
Jolene lives in Plymouth, Ohio, with her husband of 4 years where she welcomes customers into her home. Besides puppies, she enjoys helping her husband on their fixer upper house project.
Jolene’s hobbies include snowboarding in the winter time, hanging out by the lake in the summertime, hosting family and friends and playing competitive card games,playing her guitar,and traveling. Her dream is to someday visit the Bahamas and go skydiving.
Meet Janessa - Assistant / Sales
Janessa works on the day to day basis of puppy care, puppy photography, and customer care. She thoroughly enjoys making the customers’ day by helping them find their furever friend!
Before joining JoJo’s Family Puppies, Janessa worked at a local fabric store, Selling quilting supplies and all different types of Fabrics. She also has helped her parents with their Airbnb property.
Janessa lives in Mansfield, OH, with her husband of 2 years and their toy poodle family. Her dream one day is to grow with their own business, specializing in toy poodles and making customers happy with a forever friend! Janessa enjoys being with her friends and family, she loves spoiling her nieces and nephew, She loves to travel and make lots of memories, and really loves summertime.
About Your Puppy
All of our dogs are ACA registered and receive an annual vet visit to ensure they are healthy. Your puppy is with their Mamma up till weaning age. (6 week old) After that, each puppy is vet checked. We also will make sure they are up to date with all vaccinations before leaving for their new home. The puppies will be made available for adoption between 6-8 weeks of age.
To reserve a puppy we require a nonrefundable deposit via PayPal or Venmo. Once the puppy is 100% eating solid foods, they’ll be able to leave for their new home. Normally that is around 8,10, 12 weeks of age. Since the puppies leave a few weeks after they are away from their Mamma, we do not start on any training. But! Each puppy gets lots of love, attention and playtime! With the puppy you’ll receive the ACA paper, vaccination records, six month health guarantee, and a small bag of puppy food.
